How to get certified

In order to receive a Green Commerce Bureau certificate and seal you must fulfill a self-assessment checklist provided on this website. It lists various practices the company can undertake to reduce its impact on the environment.
Read through the checklist options and check all boxes that apply to your business. These can be existing or newly adopted measures implemented to meet the Green Commerce Bureau Certification requirements.
The Checklist specifies Green Commerce Bureau criteria for conserving resources, preventing pollution and minimizing waste. Upon checking off all the required number of measures and completing the self-assassment checklist, continue with payment process which is done directly on the website through paypal.
For a nominal fee of $195 per year, or $345 for two year certification, you will receive electronic version of GCB Certificate and Green Commerce Seal logo. Window decal will also be provided upon qualification.
If your business is qualified for GCB certificate, after finishing the checklist and payment process, our technical staff will review your application you will receive a GCB certification within 24hrs after the submission.

GCB certified business can renew certification after it expires by repeating the checklist and payment process again.
